Business Analysis

A fresh set of eyes on your business can change everything.

Sometimes you’re too close to your own business to see what’s holding it back. An experienced, objective perspective — focused entirely on your growth — makes all the difference.

The Problems Most Businesses Don’t See Coming

The most common business problems aren’t dramatic — they’re quiet and gradual. Money being spent on things that aren’t needed, or things that are being paid for at the wrong price. Stock levels that tie up cash without adding value. Owners and founders so involved in the day-to-day that they can’t step back and work on the business itself.

Poor time management, the wrong staffing structure, underperforming marketing, inefficient internal operations — these issues rarely announce themselves. They just quietly erode profitability, momentum and morale.

A thorough, honest analysis of your business — by someone who has seen these patterns across dozens of businesses around the world — gives you the clarity to fix what’s broken and build on what’s working.

Who This Is For

Whether your business is struggling and you need to understand why, or things are going well and you want to make sure they stay that way — an independent business analysis gives you an honest picture of where you stand and what to do next.

Over the past three years I’ve worked with businesses around the world on exactly this — providing clear, practical guidance that owners can act on immediately.

What We Cover Together

A Business Analysis engagement can cover any combination of the following:

  • Profit & loss review and commentary — understanding what the numbers are telling you
  • Cashflow analysis and management strategies
  • Company structure — is it set up for where you want to go?
  • Staffing review — the right people in the right roles
  • Marketing overview — are you reaching the right people effectively?
  • Internal operations — identifying inefficiencies and fixing them
  • Stock management — reducing excess and improving turnover
  • Cost review — finding where money is being wasted or overspent
  • Owner/founder role assessment — stepping back from the day-to-day to work on the business

How it works

Three Ways We Can Work Together

Every business is at a different stage, so I offer three levels of ongoing engagement:

1. Monthly Review

A structured monthly review of your business — covering key metrics, financials and operations. You receive a clear report and action plan with focused recommendations. A follow-up check-in the following month ensures you’re making progress.

2. Fortnightly Advisory

A more hands-on, ongoing relationship. We work through your business topic by topic — addressing issues as they arise and tracking progress as the business evolves. Fortnightly check-ins keep momentum going and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

3. Fractional COO

Think of this as having a business coach and a Chief Operating Officer in one. I’m available weekly, on call when you need me, and deeply involved in the direction and operations of your business. For founders who want a trusted, experienced partner in their corner — this is it.

Not sure which level is right for where your business is right now? Get in touch and let’s have a conversation.
